It’s been a long time coming but here are some photos from our tree planting excursion on the banks of the Waurn Ponds Creek at the end of July. Despite being in the midst of Winter, it was a beautiful sunny morning and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I managed to achieve my goal of planting 30 trees, which felt great. The Friends of the Waurn Ponds Creek is a very organised, friendly bunch who meet quite regularly. They often have days like we experienced on National Tree Planting Day, and visitors are welcome.

I apologise for the format of this post. I’m still getting used to WordPress and their image settings. Hope you like the pics!
